This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

You do not need to know how to pose or feel comfortable in front of the camera. I will guide you throughout the session using simple prompts, natural movement, and gentle posing. My goal is to create a relaxed experience where your photographs feel natural and genuinely reflect you and the people you love.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Travel within 15 miles of the Joplin metro area is included. Locations beyond that area may require an additional travel fee. Any applicable fee will be discussed before booking so there are no surprises.

Can you recommend good photography locations around Joplin?

Yes. I can help you choose a location based on your family, personality, accessibility needs, desired style, and the season. Sessions are available throughout Joplin, Carl Junction, Webb City, Carthage, and surrounding Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas communities.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

Weather can change quickly in the Four States. If rain, storms, extreme heat, dangerous cold, or other conditions would negatively affect the session, we will discuss the best option. Depending on the circumstances, we may adjust the time, choose another location, move indoors, or reschedule.
