hello, i'm Tara

let me introduce myself

Photographer, storyteller, creative entrepreneur, wife, mom, cancer survivor, and the person behind Likeable Likeness Photography.

I believe photographs are more than images. They preserve the people we love, the seasons that pass too quickly, and the ordinary moments we may not realize will someday mean everything.

My approach is relaxed, personal, and centered on genuine connection. I will guide you when you need direction, but I am not looking for perfection. I want the real laughter, meaningful details, unexpected moments, and personalities that make your story uniquely yours.

As a mom and neurodivergent creative, I understand that everyone experiences a photography session differently. My sessions are welcoming, patient, and flexible, with room for extra time, movement breaks, or space to become comfortable—without judgment or additional fees.

As a cancer survivor, I know how quickly life can change. That experience deepened my belief that the people we love deserve to exist in photographs—not only when life feels less busy or everything looks perfect.

Through Likeable Likeness Photography and Portraits With Purpose, I photograph families, seniors, milestones, and meaningful stories while using photography to help strengthen the community I call home.
